1. Where is the 12-hour clock still used?

12 hour clock are Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Pakistan, Indian, Malaysia, New Zealand, Phillipines, United States of America.

2. What does a.m and p.m. mean?

A.M: Ante Meridiem.
P.M: Post Meridiem.

3. Although using the 12-hour clock in speech is very common, using a.m. and p.m. is not common. What time expressions do we use to distinguish, for example, the difference between 2am and 2pm?
We use to distinguish it when we said "it's 15 o'clock" or " 3 o'clock".

4. What are some of the problems with using a 12-hour clock?
The problems are that some people have confusions to recognize abot midnight and noon.

5. What is the confusion about midnight and noon?
The problem is when we use it with the 12 hour system.

6. What does rounding off mean, in informal speech? Give 3 examples.

The meanning is when we said for example 13.45 , we use to say a quarter or fifteen minutes to
twelve and not "it's eleven fourty five"
